Qualifications

Michelle is qualified in many aspects of makeup artistry and specialised hairstyling services. She attained a highly reputable Diploma at the Frampton Institute of Cinemagraphic Makeup, taught by multi award nominated and Oscar Award winning makeup artist, Peter Frampton.

This course is set to international standards, offering professional skills to the highest levels required by the European, American and Australian market and is the only one of its standard in Australia.

In addition to this Michelle comes equipped with Certificate II in Hairdressing and also completed a professional development workshop in hairstyling for the film & television industry, conducted by well established Hair and Makeup Artist, Gail Kane.

Michelle has also completed 1 on 1 personalised hairstyling training with Donna Sullivan, the reputable “Introduction to long hair styling" course with Sharon Blain, and In 2011 will also be completing the Hairstyling course with the Australian Institute of Creative Design.

Michelle has also completed specialised training within the industry, including the famous “Wolfe Brothers Face & Body Art Workshop”, which came to Australia for the first time in 2008, and the "JMB FX Prosthetic Workshop" in 2011.

In addition to this, Michelle has worked under the direction of many reputable makeup artists in the industry, including Carol Cameron, Shay Lawrence and Nikki Gooley, which has also greatly expanded her skills and knowledge within the industry and provided ongoing training since her graduation.

Michelle is listed as one of the “Evolve Recommended Makeup Artists” and has worked in conjunction with Evolve professional Makeup, Allure Professional Hair & Makeup and Beauty Expressed Celebrity Makeup in various projects throughout the Gold Coast.

Michelle comes equipped with a Blue Card for working with children, and is in the process of completing her Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
